On Thursday night the group rode to the Tanglewood for dinner, while
some stayed at the Buckhorn.

I started the morning with a bagel and ride leaders meeting. Lenny stat-
ed he would lead the A group, Russ would lead the B group, I would lead
the C group and Dave would lead an on/off trail group. We all went over
the map. I had called the Grand Marais Tavern we would be coming for
lunch with approximately 30 people. As some in our group had not
shown up yet and some wanted to ride on their own.

At the ride meeting rules, safety, location, and riding style were dis-
cussed. Riders were told to pick a group to ride with that matched their
riding style and told where and when to meet up to head out. Everyone
headed out to ready themselves and their sleds.
