December 2010 Presidents Message
Id Like to thank the members that volunteered their time and energy over the last few months helping with everything that was needed. I (we) really appreciate it. With most of the hard work out of the way, the snowmobile season has finally arrived with a bang. The Shakedown ride was canceled, it was a week early it seems. The snow started building afterwards, with winter storm warnings in many of the LES areas. Many members had to find there own shakedown riding else where in this beautiful state we all call home.
As you’re reading this and the holidays are now in full swing, Id like to remind you to review the ride flyers and book your rides between the shopping, family dinners, and over indulgence. The hotel rooms are only held for so long before they’re released to back to the general public, so please book early.
If you haven’t finished your Christmas shopping, you may wish to participate in our clubs’ Christmas promotion. We are offering a $10.00 membership to your friends, family members or riding buddy that you think would enjoy our club. Maybe you just can’t get them to take that leap. This would make a great gift or stocking stuffer. The club will continue the offer until December 31st. If you have questions, or need more information please call the club office.
In closing, I wish to remind everyone to practice their snowmobile hand signals and safe snowmobiling skills when riding this season, don’t forget to stay on the trail when posted. The SnomadS must lead by example. As your club president, I’d like to wish you and your family a safe Holiday and Merry Christmas and a Happy New year. LET IT SNOW! LET IT SNOW!
