I'm in my mid 40's, and have been a snowmobiler for over 20 years. I
joke that my favorite smell is 2 stroke (Klotz), I have candles to prove it. In
the last few years I started riding 5,000+ miles per season, chasing snow all
over the state. It became more practical for me to ride a 4 stroke.
When my husband lost interest in snowmobiling I didn't. I just made
sure I could back up the trailer, service my own sled, and found people who
would ride with me, or at least didn't say no when I invited myself to tag
along. I learned about Snomads at the Novi Snow Show, and hoped to join
some of the activities last winter. However the unusual weather resulted in
several cancellations plus I had a spectacular mechanical failure in my sled,
which I'm still in the process of fixing. I look forward to joining in the activi-
         ties next season.
I have also joined several other snowmobile clubs to support the sport
including: Pere Marquette, Baldwin Trail Riders, Paradise Night Riders, and
         MISORVA

In addition to snowmobiling I also enjoy all motorsports. I have jet skis, a
street motorcycle, and am considering a side by side, since selling my 4
wheeler. I've been known to spend weekends fishing, trail running trucks,
going to drag races, or doing performance upgrades on anything with an
         engine.
During the week I'm an HR director at a technology company, when we
aren't in the midst of a pandemic I travel often for work. This makes me ap-
preciate Michigan with all there is to do and see.
Whether in business or as part of any organization I see the need to en-
gage the next generation to grow. It isn't without pain as different communi-
cation styles, interests and the different ways people engage technology can
create strong difference of opinions. There isn't only one way to do most
things, but open minds help to build bridges.

One of the things that seems to be a struggle for any group is how to get
noticed in an environment of constant noise and advertising. I strongly be-
lieve the best way is with a personal touch. Have events that others want to
attend, invite their friends, build relationships. Partner with similar groups to
