We met at 7 for dinner and an ugly sweater contest. There were some great
sweaters with Buddy, Sally, John Koss, Chuck Howery and I. Unfortunately, I
forgot to get pictures of them. At dinner we found out that Tori had caught
a stump on her new sled and lost an A arm--that’s why they call it a shake-
down ride. John and Tori rode two up back to the Buckhorn. They ran back
down in the truck to get the sled. I think after dinner a lot of the group was
tired, we put on almost 300 miles in 2 days on the first ride of the year for
many.
After dinner about 10 of us hung out in mine and Buddy’s room and told
stories and jokes. Merle and Brian Wright signed up several new Snomads
over the weekend, making sure to welcome them. Sunday morning Buddy
and I ran to the Tanglewood for breakfast, and the trails were great. It was
a fun weekend and I can’t wait to ride again!
