Why I Joined the

Snomads

I started riding in 1973 my first new sled 1972 Rupp
American 40 hp.

As the years went on all my friends that got me into
the sport, most quit riding, I had different friends
and different groups along the way.

A couple of years ago I found myself with no on to
ride with, when I went to the Novi snow show i met
the Snomads, I signed up that night and was invited
to the Kick off Party the next week. I was surprised
to see so many people at the party, all talking about
last year’s rides and rides long ago. It was easy to
fit in, I met all kinds of new riders all different styles
of riders. I knew I made the right decision to join the
club.

Last year I put on 2,800 miles with the club, I’ve
made some new friends and had some great ad-
ventures with my new family. This year I’m in
charge of the Western Saddle bag trip. It runs 7
day’s 1100 miles. Last year we had a great time
with 1,050 miles and lots of stories.
