There’s only a few things let to do. One, check the alignment of your skies.
Normally it’s recommended to toe them in around an 1/8 inch, the skies
have the tendency to toe in if there is any slop in the steering adjusting will
correct this.
If your sled has studs, you may want to check the track for broken, or bent
studs, and for proper tension.
One last point to make, if you have never had your shocks rebuilt, I would
suggest having that done. We have an ad in the Snomad from the shock
guy, I called him last week about my sled, and he quoted me around 140.00
dollars to have them all rebuilt.
After everything is completed, you should have a great time snowmobiling
this year without any type of issues. Now remember, this is just a guide, if
you are not the person who works on your equipment, you may want to
call your local dealer and make an appointment to have your sled serviced.
if you want to try to make some of the repairs yourself. You Tube offers
help on some of these procedures.
All of us at the SnomadS want to congratulate
our own, John Newman who was voted the
Vice President of the Michigan Snowmobile &
Orv Association.
Congratulating's John
